Hai readers, I’m back again with Absolute New York, my all-time
favourite brand. Concisely, they have a lot of various -products for eyes, face
and lips which made me want to bring all home indeed. The reasons I love about
their products are, they come with several of choices & colors, affordable
prices with good qualities and they always have something new that can impress
me. Still remember about my last makeup competition with Absolute New York in instagram #ABSOLUTELYICONIC
? It was fun and challenging indeed, and I got some gift from them that made me
very excited as I opened it. Guess what? Here we go!
ICON PALETTE

ICON PALETTE comes in 4 option-series (exposed, twilight,
smoked and matte exposed) and mine is “exposed”
which has shimmer & matte colors in one palette. Well, I was so happy when
I got this, obviously because it’s one of my wistlist-item I want.

- About the packaging, it made of aluminum, but still doesn’t look like cheaper palette because of the design and made of thick aluminum (it’s still feel lightweight anyway).
- Inside the palette, you will get a large mirror and dual-brush which is blending brush and flat brush. Personally, I really like it, not like other free-brush that come from the palette. This ICON’s brush is very soft, easy to pick up the products and do the blending task smoothly ( you should try it!).
- Overall, the palette comes with cool-tone, has 2 matte colors which is suit for base and 10 shimmer colors. I think it still lack of matte-color but overall all the colors are wearable and suits for day & night makeup look.
- Even it’s too powdery and many fall out, most of the shimmer-colors are pigmented, easy to blend, also the shimmer are very smooth (not messy) after I applied on my lid. And for the matte colors, it’s not too pigmented, you need to apply primer before so the color will pop up.
- For you who are still beginner in makeup, I’m very recommended this palette for you. You can play safe with this palette.

MODEST MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICK
Well, I think this is the most wanted product so far, matte
lipcream will always be a must item for every makeup jungkies, doesn’t it? And
I guess most of you will say, lipcream makes lips dry? Actually, I was agree until I meet Absolute New York Modest Matte lipcream, I change
my mind.

- About the packaging, it comes in long tube and a long stiff applicator, Tbh, I don’t really like the applicator but still easy to apply on lips.
- Full coverage and stay on like a lipstick.
- Weightless-matte-finish
- longlasting
- It’s Kiss-proof and waterproof.
- Easy to clean up (you must use a lip remover, not water because it won't work) and doesn’t get messy/smudge everywhere.
- You will never get bored because it comes with various of colors. 12 colors to choose!

| ABSOLUTE NEW YORK MODEST MATTE: MML01 LACY |
Because I got lacy color and it doesn’t really suit me. It looks like ginger color on the picture but actually after I applied on my lips it became too pale like beige color. So
for you who has the same skintone like me, I don’t really recommend this color
for you (it’s too pale). And for you who has a darker lip color, this Lacy
color suits for your base color.
ALL PURPOSE PENCIL
Last but not least, all purpose pencil, “a must-have
versatile tool for beauty arsenal”, I agreed indeed.
It designs to be used in three-ways;
- Concealing blemishes and imperfections,
- Brighten inner water line,
- As a Lip liner
- Let me add some again, it’s useful for correcting, make brows in a good shape or shape up cut-crease.
I don’t really recommend this to concealing blemishes, it
will turn cakey because you need re-apply repeatedly. And personally, I think it's more suitable for shaping than concealing. Moreover, it comes in 4 creamy-colors that flawlessly fit any skin
tones.
