BEAUTY: BLP FACE POWDER ( BY LIZZIE PARRA )

So here I’m very excited to share with you about my current product that I bought. In short story, last week I attended Cottonink event and I found that BLPBeauty also join the pop up store. They’ll be in Medan at Sun Plaza the 4th floor for 6 months. So make sure you spend your time there cause there’re a lot of new arrival you may try and for beauty jungkies, you can swatches all BLPBeauty products there without feeling anxious while buying online anymore!

Back to topic, I’ve been searching for face powder for so long. Because I’ve super oily face, I much prefer loose powder than compact powder for everyday use. Beside it can hold my oil for a day, also it doesn’t clog my pores when I do touch up or cause any skin-troubles like acne.

  

THE PACKAGING

Comes up with small-matte-beige-round that made of  transparant-acrylic. It looks so elegant yet classy. What I love about the packaging, it doesn’t like the other common loose powder. It has its own place for the puff that separate from the powder so your puff still stays clean and also it has a filter on the bottom to make sure the powder comes up in the right amount.

THE COLOUR

Currently, BLPBeauty has launched 2 shade of colors. Mine is Light Beige and the other is Medium Beige. Literally if you swatch light beige, you will think it’s too light for Asian skin-tones. But don’t worry, It claims that Light Beige is like a transparent colour, after you've applied on your face, the colour will start change to suit your own skintones.

At first, I thought I suit medium beige because I’ve a bit  yellow skintones. But Ms. Lizzie suggested me to choose light beige because: #secretnotsecret: Ms.Lizzie also uses light beige and it looks so good on her!

When the pro has suggested you, why you should be judging again? Therefore, I choose light beige after a long swatches. And I don’t regret it!

MY REVIEWS

I pretty love the product. So here my honest review after I’ve use it for a week;

• The result is semi-matte,
• Basically, because it’s a loose powder it can’t cover all my complexion but just make them more even and refreshed!,
• Talking about the textured, it’s very soft that make you don’t put any product on your face,
• Lightweight,
• Not too longlasting, because I have very oily skin, I need to touch up after  ±7 hours to clear my oil obv, but still it impressed me with the NO CAKEY RESULT,
• It doesn’t have any SPF. So, make sure you apply your sunblock/sun cream before,
• Even it’s said that it has “a colour” but I think it works more like translucent loose powder for light beige colour,
• Travel-friendly-buddies, you don’t have to worry about the product will spoil anywhere when you take it when travelling,
• Because we’re living in tropical country, I’m very understand that we sweat easily, therefore I’m very recommend this product for everyday use. Beside of the texture it doesn’t make any breakout even I sweated a lot and my makeup still on place even my face is too oily.
