WELLIESCAPE: Visit West Sumatra

Sometimes we need fresh air and challenging-activities to survive from boring routines, don’t you agree?

So, this time I chose West Sumatra as my very first nature-road-trip to explore.

And yeps, so many people asked me why I chose West Sumatra as my holiday destination.

And I said, well,as I heard from people, it has beautiful nature sight and clean blue sea.

And yah, so I’m so curious about it.

After landed at Minangkabau’s Airport, you can see mountains surround you. Fyi, even there’re a lots of mountains doesn’t mean the weather’s cool like you imagine.

First impression of West Sumatra: it’s a beautiful place to escape from hectic –loud city.

Along the way, you can see mountain on the left side and sea on the right side at once.

Where you can find this kind of place again?

It’s the second largest province that rich of coconut tree. So along of your trip, you’ll never miss them

I’m quite impress with all the green of the farmers and the rhythm of the blue sea. Really eyes-satisfying.

what to do:
visit Taruko Cafe
dare yourself to cross the river with friends

the water's really fresh and clean

brave myself so I can stand I the middle of the river

BUKIT TINGGI
what to do:
Visit the famous Jam Gadang
Have bebek cabe hijau at Ngarai Sianok
Visit Gua Jepang
Stroll around the town

kinda sad I could not take a lot of pictures at Bukit tinggi but that doesn't mean it's a boring place.

Fyi, it's THE MOST VISITED place in West Sumatra.
