It doesn’t matter if you’re a newbie or pro in makeup, but
one of “a must have” item for daily
essentials routine is “a remover”,
don’t you agree with me?
I’m so recommend you to have different makeup remover , one
for eyes and other for face individually, especially for those who love
bold/heavy makeup look ( I don’t think an
instant remover “all for one” can clean up completely your heavy makeup).
Moreover, I believe each product of the remover has their own special
ingredients to clean up the makeup and take care of your skin.
So let’s jump into the point, for eye remover, I trust NIVEA
DOUBLE EFFECT EYE MAKEUP REMOVER, I can say this is the
best remover for eyes I’ve got. Then I choose NIVEA MICELLAR WATER for my
face remover. So here my honest reviews

THE PACKAGING
Comes with light-transparant-plastic in 125ml of bottle with
white cap on it.
Even though it’s very simple it’s still look nice because of
the deep blue oil,personally, I think it’s very eye-catching rather than other
remover’s packaging and also really shows the blue trademark of Nivea.
USAGE
Effective to remover makeup, even waterproof mascara. Giving
skin in the eyes area moisture and protect eyelashes as well. Cleans makeup
gently, no need to wipe it too hard. Dermatology and ophthalmology tested.
HOW TO USE
Shake it well before use and pour a generous amount on
cotton, then wipe around eyes area gently and slowly from inner to outer eyes.

- The texture of itself is more watery so it doesn’t leave any oily effect on skin.
- No worries if you have sensitive eye area! It’s formulated and tested for sensitive skin and also for contacts lens wearers. (but if you pour too much of the product on your cotton pad,you'll feel a little bit burning)
- For eyes, just using a couple gently wipe, it takes off my eye’s makeup very well. Waterproof mascara and eyeliner gone!
- For my lipsticks, well, everything just gone in the 3rd gently wipes but just only for my red liptint, it’s very hard to remove, even I’ve try so many times. (maybe because my liptint is basically is a tattoo lipsticks).

- very easy to clean light makeup look. But for heavy makeup I suggest you to wipes your face 2-3 times again to have a better result.

It doesn’t give a burning effect.
- I don’t like the packaging, it’s too big to bring on travel.
- It’s quiet hard to clean eye makeup, maybe because the formula is made only for face makeup. (like I said before, it’s best to have a remover base on the function)
- keep your skin moist and hydrated.
Need to know:
I found a lot of people while wipe their
eyes/face area in a harsh way. Please avoid this technique! It’ll not help you
to remover your makeup easily, but just make your skin stress and can cause wrinkles
and bigger pores.
the key is, hold your cotton pad with the remover on the area you want to clean up and wait around 5 seconds, then GENTLY wipe it continuously. trust me, it works!
